A bit hot and bothered.

Despite what I said on Sunday morning, I’m not sure I am as happy to see the sun as I thought.  It’s really almost too hot now.  In fact, it’s not the heat, it’s the heat with the humidity; it was hotter in Granada and I’m sure I coped with it better there.  Of course, I didn’t have to get the tube or the train in Granada…

I wish I could be at home in this weather though.  No tiring journey home, no stuffy office.  I could really enjoy just sitting in the garden right now with an apple-j listening to all the birds.  By the time I get home, make dinner etc etc then there isn’t much time to enjoy the garden before the sun goes away.  I’m working at home on Friday but it’ll be a fairly full on day so not sure I’ll go outside that much.  Plus, I have to be cautious in the garden during weekday daytimes – our retired next door neighbour likes to chat and once when I worked from home I lost half an hour of work time to chatting!  We gained a bit of garden out of it, but that’s another tale…
