Blog Post 17-02-2011

There is a small blackbird that lives in the tree in my neighbours front garden. He has built a little nest ready for when he finds a lady blackbird and he spends the whole morning singing away. Now that it is lighter when I leave, he is already up and about, singing his morning song. It’s such a lovely thing to hear as I head off to work.

There is something wonderfully pure about a little bird singing that makes you remember that life doesn’t need to be complicated. Thinking about everything in one’s life, I would safely assume that for most people, at least 50% of the stress they feel is self-induced. To live in modern society will also be stressful to a degree (bills, travel etc) but I know I for one could do a bit of self-reviewing to remove some of stress I put on myself.
