Blog Post 19-07-2010

So, Sam and I are off this week and are enjoying a few days at home. Today we had a lazy morning, then I cut Sam’s hair. We then went to town so a proper hair dresser could cut my hair and then we had some lunch. We then passed much of the afternoon sitting around watching Series 3 of ‘Gavin and Stacey’ before spending half an hour browsing for honeymoon trips (we’re thinking Malta…). Sam then went in to town to meet Sophie to go and see ‘A Comedy of Errors’ at The Globe whilst I went to rowing.

Lou and I were in the double this evening and had provisionally gone out with the mentality of those out for a gentle paddle, despite having a race on Saturday! We were foiled though when Rog and Phil caught up with us in their pair and they sat on our tail back and forth for about 5k, keeping us working hard! It was awesome though and they gave us some pointers too. Rog was coaching Lou and I a bit on Saturday too so we were really trying to put all of that in to today. We still have a long way to go but we’re definitely making progress because we were going faster and my steering went to hell 😉

Anyway, too tired to keep writing now and have to prepare a cheque to pay for St Neots entries. Nighty-night.
