So, the final Harry Potter book was released on Saturday and by 10.30am there were two copies being eagerly read in our flat. Sam sprinted ahead in the reading stakes and finished on Sunday evening and I trailed in at 10pm last night (although I hadn’t read much more than an hour yesterday!). It was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to expect at all really – it was such a highly anticipated book. It’s nice to know how it all ends though and whilst I won’t go into detail, it’s not without it’s sad bits!
In fact, the last few days it’s been Harry Potter fever. We saw the film and then we started reading the sixth book again, then the seventh book came out and to top it off, we went and saw the film again last night. Sam said that, the second time round, he started to get bored. I thought it was as good as the first time. We didn’t just go again for no reason though, my sister came too and she also enjoyed the film.
Away from Harry Potter, the weather hasn’t been great annoyingly. However, Sunday morning was really nice and we enjoy a nice leisurely lunch by the Serpentine. We also popped out to the Science museum, but it was packed with annoying kids. The gym trips have been going well though – tomorrow is body combat class 2. But no time for anything else, dinner is about ready and if I don’t go now, it’ll burn. Noooooooo……
