Where did the time go?

Time goes too quickly, as it seems to disappear faster and faster as I get older.  I read something in a book named Blink (reviewed on the reviews page) which said that the reason every day feels like a year when you are a child is because you are constantly learning new things, seeing new things etc.  Whereas, as an adult, so much of what you see if familiar.  I hate that!  This bank holiday felt like an eternity whilst I was in the middle of it.  But then all of a sudden it was 6 am this morning and the bloody alarm was going off.  Gah!  However, today, my day at work has gone by so quickly!  I’m not sure it’s because I’m learning new things mind.  Rather I have so much to do, time is playing mean games with my by disappearing quicker than it should :ob
