Tales of Little Z – 13, 14 and 15 months

As I started to write this, I looked back on my previous post. I was astonished to read it because it feels like that was all a lifetime ago and you’ve changed so incredibly since then. You are still such an incredibly fun and happy little girl. It is rare for you not to be full of laughter and smiles. And now you’re transitioning into toddlerhood, you’re also developing that cheeky and testing streak. I won’t lie, at times it

Four go to Sherwood Center Parcs (as going abroad felt like too much hard work!)

In late 2018 Sam I discussed going abroad for our 2019 family holiday. Whilst I will always have my private journals, I also decided to take a leaf

That was the year that was 2016 – a summary

As 2011 reached it’s end, I decided to write an end of year post which reflected back on the highs and lows of the last 12 months. Since then, it has become a personal tradition to write and publish my “That was the year that was” post on 31 December every year. More than anything, this post is a personal opportunity to look back as a year a draws to a close. 2016 has been another life changing year with

Our trip to Woburn Forest Center Parcs

Last weekend we went on a long weekend break with the in-laws to the Woburn Forest Center Parcs near Bedford. Living in Hertfordshire, it was a wonderfully convenient 40 minute journey. So we loaded up the car after H had her nap and lunch so that we arrived shortly after the 3pm lodge arrival time. (Although if you can go from 10am to use the pool and other facilities.) The Lodge Our lodge
