30 Days Blogging – Day 7: My plans, dreams and goals

30daysblogging7

I’ll confess now that I thought this Blogging Challenge would be quick way of getting some more blog content. But I was wrong. It’s really making me use my brain to answer some of these and looking forward they only get more challenging. Plans, goals and dreams is quite tough. I’ve always had aims but never strict plans. Also, there are a few things which I will always keep private, even from the blogging community. Sorry! However, there are things

30 Days Blogging – Day 4: A pic of somewhere I’ve been

Selecting a pic of somewhere we’ve been – a tricky one. Whilst we aren’t the most adventurous people, we do go out to quite a lot of lovely trips. But I decided to go with somewhere we’ve been recently and go often. The place I’ve chosen is the the local park!

My Top 10 Online Reads #3

Welcome to my monthly feature in which I share some of my favourite online articles for the month. So anything I can defer to the train I do; This includes my breakfast. After a year of eating a healthy porridge and banana breakfast during Mat Leave (that dish literally saved me during

Is it true – am I actually a Mum?

Being a Mum is one of the most awesome parts of my life. I am immensely proud that I get to be my daughter’s mother. It’s a role that makes me happy every single day, although to say it makes me happy every single minute of every single day would certainly be a LIE! But I look forward to seeing H every morning; I can’t wait to see her at the end of every work day. She is without a

Why I kinda like the night wake-ups

I’m massively tempting fate by committing these words to digital ‘paper’ but as much as I miss sleeping soundly through the night I have a confession to make…[in a whisper] I sort of like the nights where H needs me. I’ll be clear at this point; I do not mean those nights where I get woken up every 10 minutes from the moment I first lay my head on my pillow through until the birds decide it’s time to get
