Our first visit to North Wales had us based in Bala, on the edge of the lake. We were staying at a residence owned by my company, so I shan’t be saying much about the accommodation (it was very comfortable and we even had our own mini ‘hallway’). We also ate most of our food there, so I won’t be commenting on that either (it was all really tasty). However, we did explore a bit of the ‘local’ area so that I will review.
